May the Lord give strength to his people! May the lord bless his people with peace! (Psalm 29:11)

The Diocese of Parramatta’s Interfaith Commission invite all to join them in prayer to the God of Abraham—whom Jews, Muslims, and Christians all worship—to bring peace and reconciliation among all the children of Abraham.
We are shocked and distressed by the outbreak of violence in the Middle East. We feel helpless in the face of such immense suffering and loss of lives. Therefore, we implore God to bring an end to the war and a just and lasting peace.
- Time: 7.00 pm
- Date: Thursday 26 October 2023
- Place: St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta

By the tender mercy of our God,
the dawn from on high will break upon us,
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace. (Luke 1:78-79)
